Robert "Bob" Davison

Robert “Bob” Davison, age 77, of Douglas, Georgia  passed away on Thursday May 10, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. Mr. Davison was born on July 21, 1940 in Tifton, Georgia the son of the late Vernon Thomas Davison and Jane Simmons Davison.

He was a self-employed bricklayer, a member of the First Baptist Church, worked with the Coffee County Sheriff’s office and was a veteran in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Sunni June Davison of Douglas, GA; two sons, Dave Davison of Morristown, TN and Dean Davison and wife Heather of Elizabethtown, TN; daughter, Dea Davison of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Cayden Davison, Cami Davison and Carter Davison all of Elizabethtown, TN; god-daughter, Rae Ann Strickland; sister, Janice Kennedy of Albany, GA.

Funeral services will be Monday May 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. Interment to follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Tifton, GA. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Sims Funeral Home.
