Robert Jesse Lanier, Jr.

Mr. Robert Jesse Lanier Jr., age 76, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Douglas, GA. Mr. Lanier was born on January 23, 1942 in Baker County, GA to the late Robert Jesse Lanier Sr. and Ethel Ray Lanier. He is survived by his wife, Christine Gleaton Lanier of Douglas, GA; daughter Mary Catherine and husband Tim Tintle of Brevard, NC; sons Robert Lanier III of Phoenix, AZ and Thomas Lanier of Livermore, CA; sisters Gail Harrell of Patmos, GA and Connie Truluck of Lake Wales, FL; brother Mike Lanier of Newton, GA; grandchildren Hayden Lanier and Sabrina Lanier. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jesse Lanier Sr. and mother Ether Ray Lanier.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Douglas, GA.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Douglas, GA with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. 

Interment to be followed at 4:00 p.m. at the Patmos Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Patmos, GA.
