Mrs. Evie Spivey

Mrs. Evie Spivey, age 92, of Douglas, Ga., passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Spivey was born December 30, 1924, in Ambrose, Georgia to the late Mr. Pearlie Harper and Mrs. Lunnie Vickers Harper.

Survivors include:   Sons: Jimmy and his wife Shirli Spivey of Douglas, Ga., Stanley and his wife Camellia Spivey of Douglas, Ga., Joey and his wife Kerryl Spivey of Edgard, La., Sisters: Daphine Fussell of Ambrose, Ga., Arthur Mae Ravel of Fitzgerald, Ga.,  Grandchildren: Clay and his wife Melissa Spivey, Cristi Luke, Daniel Spivey, Nathan and his wife Cindy Spivey, Lundie and her husband Hardy Gray, Al Spivey, Trey Spivey, Blake and his wife Jennifer White, and Tanner White. Great-Grandchildren: Austin Luke, Anna Luke, Jack Spivey, Amellia Gray, Parker Gray, Jewels Gray, Harper Spivey, Hayden Spivey, and Brantley White and several nieces and nephews.

She was Preceded in death by:  Husband: Alton Spivey.   Father: Pearlie Harper,  Mother: Lunnie Harper and  Granddaughter: Shala Gail Spivey.    

Visitation will be Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at St. Illa Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the St. Illa Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Carver and Rev. Jimmy McMillan officiating.
