Milledge Wayne Perry, age 65, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday November 7, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Perry was born on February 16, 1954 in Douglas, Georgia the son of the late Milledge M. Perry and the late Vonice Stone Perry. He worked with the Coffee County Road Department and was a member of Reedy Branch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Ellis Perry of Douglas, GA, four daughters, Sandy King of Douglas, GA, Tammy Merson (husband Shane) of Douglas, GA, Kayla Perry of Douglas, GA and Amanda Roberson of Hawkinsville, GA; five grandchildren, Andrew Spivey, Skylar Merson, Sierra King, Keegan King and Morgun Perry; great grandchild, Kamden Holt; host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday evening November 8, 2019 from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 9, 2019 at 2:00pm at Saving Grace Ministries with Rev. Bill Stone and Rev. Michael Harper officiating with interment to follow at Sand Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Perry will lay-in-state at the church from 1pm until 2pm prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Tony Simmons, Raymond Purvis, Kenneth Williams, Darrell Wooten, Richard Butler and Mike Grantham. Honorary pallbearers will be Coffee County Road Department, Jack Williams and Leonard Thrift.
