Lonnie Story

Lonnie Story, age 60, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Story was born on December 18, 1956, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Danny Austin Story and Audrey Jean Joyce Story.

Survivors include: his fiancé, Thelma Moody of Douglas, Ga.; two sons, Timothy Story and Chad Story; two brothers, Thomas (Dot) Story of Savannah, Ga. and Barry Keith Story of Douglas, Ga.; sister, Beverly Jean (Randall) Garner of Nicholls, Ga.; four grandchildren, McKayley Story, Leighann Story, Gabriel Story, and Adam Washburn; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
