Linda McReady

Linda McReady, age 72, of Wray, Georgia passed away on Monday August 6, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. McReady was born on January 14, 1946 in Telfair County, Georgia the son of the late Walter David Tucker and Rosa Lee Gilcrease Tucker.

She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Ambrose, Georgia.

Mrs. McReady was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Tucker and a sister, Martha Tucker.

Survivors include her daughter, Polly McReady of Wray, GA; son, Oscar McReady and wife Cynthia Melissa of Willacoochee, GA; two grandchildren, David McReady of Willacoochee, GA and Rebecca Brigmond and husband Josh of West Green, GA; two great grandchildren, Colton Brigmond and Allie Brigmond; two brothers, Archie Tucker and Johnny Tucker both from Alabama; three sisters, Bonnie Lupo of Tifton, GA, Bobbie McReady of Douglas, GA and Paulette Smith of Alabama.

Memorial services were held on Saturday August 11, 2018 at 11:00am at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Carroll Carver officiating. Music was furnished by Janet Smith singing “How Great Thou Art” accompanied by Virginia Lewis on piano and CD songs “Dancing in the Sky” and "Address in the Stars”. Virginia Lewis provided prelude and postlude music.

Memorialization is by cremation.
