Lenora Miller Obituary

Lenora Porter Miller, age 73, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday August 17, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Miller was born on January 26, 1946 in Ocilla, Georgia the daughter of the late Joseph Charlie Porter and Rosa Lee Trowell Porter.

She worked as a sales clerk with Wal-Mart for twenty years and was a member of St. Illa Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Roscoe Miller, two brothers; Jimmy Porter and Reason Porter and one daughter-n-law Tammy Miller.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Miller (wife Lynn) of Douglas, GA and Jeremy Miller (wife Amber) of Douglas, GA; two sisters, Mildred Stevens of Douglas, GA and Virginia McClendon of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren, Logan Miller, Tyler Miller, Cameron Miller and Will Wooten all of Douglas, GA.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm at St. Illa Baptist Church with Rev. John Wayne Matthews and Rev. Phillip Corbean officiating.   Interment St. Illa Baptist church cemetery.  

 The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
