Kenneth Wade Murray

Kenneth Wade Murray, age 61, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday January 3, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Murray was born on November 11, 1957 in Douglas, Georgia the son of the late Clinton Murray and Ruby Inez Rentz Murray.

He worked as an electrician and attended Harrell Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Whitley Murray and a brother, James Murray.

Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly M. Murray of Douglas, GA and Kendra Canfield (Robert) of Adel, GA; brother, Kyle Murray of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren, Noah Canfield, Kameron Canfield and Joe Canfield all of Adel, GA; five nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 6, 2019 at 2:00pm at Harrell Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jimbo Steed officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Murray will lay-in-state Sunday from 1pm until 2pm prior to the service. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
