Johnnie Stevens, Jr.

Johnnie Stevens, Jr., age 68, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Satruday, July 22, 2017, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Stevens was born on September 3, 1948, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Johnnie Stevens, Sr. and Vera Brigmond Stevens.

Survivors include: his wife, Sharon Ann Tarrant Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; son, Jarred (Kristin) Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; two sisters, Jeanette Underwood of Cordele, Ga. and Sandra Swank of Valdosta, Ga.; granddaughter, Rylee Grace Stevens of Douglas, Ga.; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Monday, July 24, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
