Gary Bennie Lee Anderson, Sr. age 67, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Anderson was born on August 5, 1952, in Douglas, Georgia to the late Bennie Lee Anderson and Elzie Davis Anderson.

Survivors include: Wife: Susan Diane Music Anderson of Douglas, GA.     Daughters: Lynn Anderson of Ambrose, GA, Hope  Dietz, Justin Dietz, spouse of Hope Dietz of Savannah, GA. Son: Gary Anderson of Axson, GA. Sister: Joan Youngblood of Douglas, GA.          : Seventeen Grandchildren: Ten Great grandchildren, Step-Children: Stephanie Stone, Tonya Jewell, Terry Jewell, Trampas Bennett.  He was  preceded in death by: His Parents,  Son: Jonathan Anderson, and  Garrison Dale Anderson, Daughter: Lacrista  Anderson, Brothers: Robert Anderson,  Tex Anderson, and  Carson Anderson, Sisters: Patsy Anderson, Carolyn Anderson,and Dorothy Miller.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints with Bishop Michael Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow in Jowers Chapel Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
