Elizabeth Stults, age 78, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday January 6, 2020 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Stults was born on July 6, 1941 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson Pridgen and the late Ruth Silvers Pridgen.
Mrs. Stults retired as a Cosmetologist/Beautician after thirty years working for J. B. White’s and then Dillards Department Store in Augusta, Georgia and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Lana Gillis (husband Lon) of Douglas, GA; two sons, Shane Tanner (wife Lynda) of Douglas, GA and Jeffrey Wallace Tanner of Douglas, GA; brother, Mack Pridgen of Savannah, GA; nine grandchildren Aaron Lynn Vellasamy (husband Nigel), Hunter Gillis, Tiffany McKinnon (Bryan), Brittany Harrell (Jessie), Christy Tanner, Courtney Tanner, Jacob Tanner, Shane L. Tanner and James Tanner; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 12 noon until 2:00pm at Harrell Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00pm at Harrell Grove Baptist Church with Pastors Gregory and Jackie Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Harrell Grove Church Cemetery.
