Lt. Harold Dewayne Douglas, age 54, of Broxton, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Residence. Mr. Douglas was born on April 28, 1963, the son of the late Harold Dwight Douglas and Rebecca Lundy Douglas of Mississippi.
Mr. Douglas was a retired Lieutenant with the Coffee County Sheriff’s office, a truck driver hauling mobile homes and loved to fish and hunt.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Sara Douglas.
Survivors include: two daughters, Teekeela Douglas of Ambrose, GA. and Ginger Ambron and husband Trevor of Mooresville, NC; grandchildren, Easton Davis, Audrey Ambron, Evan Ambron and T.J. Ambron; Mother, Rebecca Douglas of Mississippi; Caregiver, Lynn Hodges; two uncles, Larry Douglas and Marvin Douglas; aunt, Linda Douglas Mobley.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Walter James officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
