Chris P. (Pridgen) Dixon

Mrs. Muriel Christian "CHRIS" Dixon, age 88, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, in Douglas, GA.  Mrs. Dixon was born on October 31, 1929 in Broxton, GA to the late Ernest Pridgen and Nollie Mae Wooten Pridgen.

Survivors include her sisters: Lois Young of Fitzgerald, GA and Willene Young of Fitzgerald, GA; Sister-in-Law: Faye Pridgen of Macon, GA; Brother-in Law: Ed and wife Frances Smith of Fitzgerald, GA; Several grand nieces and nephews and several great grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services  will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God with Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. Music was furnished for the service with Rev. Marshall Adcock  singing "Blessed Assurance" and the Congregation singing "Amazing Grace".  Interment will follow at New Corinth Calvary Holiness Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be E. F. Pridgen, Chad Swanson, Randall Smith, Tracy Swanson, William Pridgen, Junior Wells.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Donald Carver, Glen Gardner, Jr., Glen Gardner, SR, Rev. Gerald Gardner, Lena Mae McQuaig, Rhonda Griffis, Warren  Paulk, Riley Lewis, Ernest Pridgen , Jonathan Pridgen and Janie Ruth Kirkland.
