Cecil Railey

Cecil Railey, age 77, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Vista Park. Mr. Railey was born on August 8, 1941 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late William Bill Railey and Annie Ricketson Railey.

He work as a maintenance supervisor with Hope Housing, Waycross, Georgia and was a member of Bethany Holiness Baptist Church, Ambrose, Georgia.

Mr. Railey was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Railey, son, Chris Railey, grandchild, Hunter Railey, three brothers, Raymond Railey, Leon Railey and Gerald Railey and a sister, Mildred Jones.

Survivors include three sons, Johnny Railey (Brenda) of Douglas, GA, Michael Railey (Cathy) of Denton, GA and Steven Lamar Railey of Ambrose, GA; sister, Shirley Merritt of Broxton, GA; three brothers, George Railey , Herman Railey and Pete Railey all of Broxton, GA; daughter-in-law, Pam Railey of Ambrose, GA; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday December 22, 2018 at 2:00pm at Bethany Church Cemetery, Ambrose, GA with Rev. Don Lott officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.
