Austin Wilson Harper

Austin Wilson Harper, age 78, of Baxley, Georgia passed away on Thursday October 24, 2019 at Memorial Health, Savannah, Georgia.

Mr. Harper was born on June 7, 1941 in Ocilla, Georgia the son of the late Wilson Harper and the late Alda Vickers Harper McDonald. He worked as a service contractor with General Mobile Homes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Grace Fussell and Mary Jo Thomas.

Survivors include his three daughters, Dee Dee Ann Harper of Nashville, GA, Pennie Sue Harper of Douglas, GA and Olivia Taylor of Baxley, GA; four grandchildren, Sidney Austin Deal, Kayla Lee Smit, Hayden Royal and Alana Taylor; six great grandchildren, Landen Gaines, Caden Smith, Halleigh Deal, Charlie Austin Deal, Rylea Childers and Sidney Ave Lynn Deal; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA.

Memorialization is by cremation. Burial will be at a later date in New Hope Church Cemetery.
