Virgil Charles Odell

Virgil Charles Odell, age 69, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Odell was born on December 21, 1944, in Pearson, GA to the late Charles Odell and Evelyn Frances Stapleton Odell.
Survivors include: his wife, Paulette Odell of Douglas, GA, daughter, Renee Odell Weibley and fiancé Eric King of Brunswick, GA, brother, William Alfred Odell of Douglas, GA, sister, Ann Larney of Douglas, GA, half sister, Pam Yorkey of New York, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Mission Assembly of God with Rev. Elaine Keene and Loy Burkett officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery. Music was furnished for the service by Praise & Worship Church Group "Amazing Grace", Brian Beard "How Great Thou Art", CD ""There You Will Be", and CD by Rick Keene "Show Me The Cross". Active Pallbearers were: Virgil Larney, William Odell, Eric King, Scotty Henderson, Roy Burkett, Austin Woods, Keegan Harrison, and Wayne Fussell. Honorary Pallbearers were: Loy Burkett. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
