Thomas Prewett

Thomas Michael Prewett, age 63, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Prewett was born on March 17, 1952, in Montbrom, France to the late Col. James F. Prewett and Shirley Prewett. Survivors include: his wife, Sydney Stubbs Prewett of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Carie Prewett of Douglas, GA and Kelli Prewett of Douglas, GA; son, Kris (Janette) Prewett of Marietta, GA; three sisters, Judi (Dennis) Worrell of Douglas, GA, Jeri Hansom of Memphis, TN, and Barbara (George) Emmons of Athens, AL; two grandchildren, Hayden Hall and Kason Hall; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. James F. Prewett and Shirley Prewett , and brother, Larry Prewett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Nigel Herbert officiating. In Lieu of Flowers donation may be made to Georgia Association to Benefit Veterans, Inc. 6925 Breeze Dr., Stone Mountain, GA 30087. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
