Steve Robinson

Steve Robinson, age 60, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at residence following an extended illness. Mr. Robinson was born on October 2, 1954 in Leesburg, GA to Sarah Robinson and the late Benton Robinson.
Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Robinson of Douglas, GA; two sons, David (Ashlea) Robinson of Douglas, GA and Daniel (Kimberly) Robinson of Ambrose, GA; mother, Sarah Robinson of Stuart, FL; two brothers, Dennis (Peg) Robinson of Douglas, GA and Brad Robinson of Stuart, FL; five grandchildren, Levi Robinson, Macy Robinson, Mallory Robinson, Bailey Robinson, and Kaitlyn King; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Mission Holiness Church with Rev. Gene Chaney and David Robinson officiating. Music is furnished for the service by Kaylee Hersey "Walked On The Water", Cliff Kirkland "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and CD "Small Town Southern Man" with Sammy Snipes playing the piano. Active Pallbearers are: Alfred Hersey, Dody Hersey, Cody Hersey, Jay Hersey, Johnny Nobles, Paul Smith, Michael Swials, and Phillip Collier. Interment will follow at Sunny Side Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
