Shirley Jean Youngblood

Shirley Jean Youngblood, age 57, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Youngblood was born on August 14, 1959, in Duval County, FL to the late Elton Royal and Mary Nell Silas Royal. Survivors include: her husband, David Youngblood of Nicholls, GA; daughter, Shanna (Michial) Gray of Douglas, GA; son, Justin "Buc" (Christopher) Stokes-Youngblood of Brunswick, GA; four grandchildren, Dillan Gray, Chelsea Gray, Sage Gray, and Austin Gray all of Douglas, GA; three sisters, Kay (David) Cheshire of Homerville, GA, Linda (Jeff) Lindsey of Douglas, GA, and Marcia (Glenn) Outlaw of Nashville, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Anderson; and two brothers, DeWayne Royal and Larry Royal. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 29 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Chatterton Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
