Ruth Nannell Barlow

Ruth Nannell Joiner Barlow, age 66, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Barlow was born on June 27, 1948, in Douglas, GA to Leavy Joiner and Lula Luke Joiner.
Survivors include: her daughter, Karla Sewell of Douglas, GA; son, Brad (April) Barlow of Douglas, GA; six grandchildren, Christopher Sewell, Dylan Sewell, Alex Barlow, Jake Barlow, Carter Kennett, and Bentley Sewell; two brothers, Mervin (Wanda) Joiner and Larry (Annette) Joiner; special friends, Gail Johns and Miss Kay; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Jordan and Rev. Mark Joyce officiating. Interment will follow at Harrell Grove Church Cemetery. Music is furnished for the service by CD "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "The Dance". Active Pallbearers are: Allen Joiner, Tony Joiner, Dustin Joiner, Ricky Mincey, Michael Mincey and Greg Bennett. Honorary Pallbearers are: Wal-Mart Employees. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
