Rosa Chaney

Rosa Chaney, age 92, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Southern Senior Living following an extended illness. Mrs. Chaney was born on March 13, 1923, in Douglas, GA to the late Lovett Burch and Elizabeth Wynn Burch. Survivors include: her sister, Trudis (Harry) Andrews of West Green, GA; two nephews, Ken Hursey of West Green, GA and Jerry Burch of Homerville, GA; and niece, Judy Godwin of Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Chaney and a daughter, Sandy Chaney. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Bro. Kenny Adams officiating. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
