Nancy Minix

Nancy Minix, age 59, of Fitzgerald, GA passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015, at Life Care Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Minix was born on November 30, 1955, in West Green, GA to the late Albert Minix and Mildred Pauline Lott Minix. Survivors include: her two daughters, Julia Minix of Douglas, GA and Angela Minix of Douglas, GA; son Julian Minix of Douglas, GA; two sisters, Phillis Vaughn of Broxton, GA and Joyce Wainwright of Winder, GA; five grandchildren, Antonio Minix, Carlos Minix, Adriana Serrano, Kayla Martinez, and Roberto Minix; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Minix and Mildred Pauline Lott Minix and a brother, Allen Wayne Songberg. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Elick Bullington officiating. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
