Lea Merritt

Lea Merritt, age 37, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Miss. Merritt was born on May 10, 1979, in Douglas, GA to Larry Joe Merritt and Deborah Adams. Survivors include: her mother, Deborah Adams Merritt of Douglas, GA; father, Larry Joe Merritt of Douglas, GA; stepfather, Steve Barrett of Douglas, GA; brother, Caleb Barrett of Douglas, GA; aunt, Donna Adams; and several cousins. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Rev. Matt Rutland and Ken Vickers officiating. Memorials may be made to Coffee County Humane Society. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
