Julia Tanner

Julia Tanner, age 78, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Manor House. Ms. Tanner was born on November 14, 1937, in Atlanta, GA to the late Myles Wade Fletcher and Wilhelmina Lucille Rice Fletcher. Survivors include: her son, Wade (Susan) Tanner; daughter, Laurie Tanner; two grandchildren, Jessa Ray Tanner and Madelyn Ann Tanner; brother, Fred Myles (Kathy) Fletcher; nephew, Eric Myles Fletcher. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Wade Fletcher and a niece, Michelle Fontaine Fletcher. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
