Judith Annette Bleckley

Judith Annette Bleckley, age 79, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Jeff Davis Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Bleckley was born on June 28, 1936, in Douglas, GA to the late Joe Raleigh Stallings and Evelyn Myers Stallings. Survivors include: her two daughters, Georgia Thomas of Douglas, GA and Melinda (Jerrell) Vickers of Ambrose, GA; two sons, Dan (Linda) Merritt of Ambrose, GA and Dwight Merritt of Nicholls, GA; sister, Sandra (Clarence) Dockery of Broxton, GA; brother, T.E. Stallings of Hazlehurst, GA; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Earl Bleckley; and a brother, Randall Stallings. The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Lone Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Polk officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
