Jimmie Sue Dockery

Jimmie Sue Dockery, age 76, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Sunday, Noveember 15, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Dockery was born on March 16, 1939 in Douglas, GA to the late Jesse Phillips and Ella Mae Griffin Phillips. Survivors include: her two daughters, Sue Lane (Wade) Hughes of Broxton, GA and Jacquelyn (Yawn) Jowers of Broxton, GA; son, Richael (Sandy) Dockery of Ambrose, GA; brother-in-law, Bennie Dockery; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dockery, six grandchildren, Brann Dockery, Kyle Holt, Melissa Holt, Robin Middleton, Jason Hughes and Jessica Medders; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George Dockery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Wray Holiness Church with Rev. Austin Medders officiating. Interment will follow at Wray Holiness Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
