Janie Justice

Janie Justice, age 87, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Justice was born on July 15, 1927, in Douglas, GA to the late Royce Leonard Jones and Edna Page Jones.
Survivors include: her daughter, Lisa Giddens of Douglas, GA; son, Mike (Linda) Justice of Douglas, GA; four grandchildren, Russell (Jessica) Giddens, Kelly Giddens, Justin (Susan) Justice, and Candy (Reggie) Strickland all of Douglas, GA; eight great grandchildren, Brodie Ralph Thomas, Cole Giddens, Jesslyn Giddens, Taylor Justice, Jayla Justice, Lanie Grace Justice, Madison Strickland, and Michael Strickland; four step grandchildren, Darian Strickland, Matt (Dana) Aspinwald, Michelle (Hamp) Tatum, and Melinda Smith; seven step great grandchildren, Joshua Aspinwald, Jacob Aspinwald, Jordan Aspinwald, Alexis Smith, John Smith, Ethan Tatum, and Conner Tatum; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Justice.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Elick Bullington officiating and Rev. Carl McDonald given the eulogy. Active Pallbearers are: Wiley Fletcher, Ronald Grantham, Jerry Kirkland, Bill Fambrough, David Lott, and Jimmy Scott. Honorary Pallbearers are: Ellenora Lott, Cadwin O'Steen, Wesley Davis, Melva Fletcher, and Ella Harkleroad. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
