Hazel Crews McQuaig

Hazel Crews McQuaig, age 75, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. McQuaig was born on July 22, 1939, in Brantley County, GA to the late Amos Crews and Geneva Johns Crews. Survivors include: her six daughters, Frances (Terry) Boggan of Douglas, GA, Cindy (Arthur) Futch of Douglas, GA, April Cribbs of Douglas, GA, Stacey (Randy) Cothern of Douglas, GA, Michele (Jonathan) Mickler of Satellite Beach, FL, and Shannon (Macky) White of Willacoochee, GA; sister, Louise Farmer of Jacksonville, FL; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Mathew McEachern officiating. Active Pallbearers were: Matt McQuaig, Daniel Davis, Dusty Cribbs, Cody Cribbs, Johnny Swails, and Tyler Youngblood. Interment followed at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
