Evelyn Jowers

Evelyn Jowers, age 85, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Jowers was born on April 6, 1931, in Douglas, GA to the late Virgil Morgan and Pearlie Stevens Morgan. Survivors include: her son, Donnie (Lynn) Jowers of Ambrose, GA; daughter, Patsy Revis of Ambrose, GA; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Dover. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Floyd Musgrove and Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
