Cummings "Brother" Smith

Cummings "Brother" Smith, age 82, of Broxton, Ga passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Smith was born on March 1, 1934, in Broxton, Ga to the late Hoke Smith and Gussie Cummings Smith. Survivors include: his wife, Jane Smith of Broxton, Ga; two sons, Mike (June) Smith and Darrell (Debra) Smith both of Broxton, Ga; daughter, Felicia Smith of Broxton, Ga; four grandchildren, D.J. (Page) Smith of Wray, Ga, John (Tara) Smith of Broxton, Ga, Cliffy (Alexa) Smith of Broxton, Ga, and Mark Smith of Broxton, Ga; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Sam Roberts of Broxton, Ga; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Broxton Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Clements and Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment will follow at Broxton City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
