Lonnie Pruitt

Lonnie Pruitt, age 54, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, following an extended illness. Mr. Pruitt was born on October 11, 1962, in Oxford, NC to the late Walter Edward Pruitt and Helen Breedlove Pruitt.

Survivors include: his daughter, Abby Pruitt; son, Eric Pruitt; two sisters, Pam (Jeff) Sherman and CeCe Denny; brother, Dr. Ronald (Ann) Pruitt; special friend, Dawn Williams; good friends, Sonny Lyons, Don Hatfield, Lyle Gordon, Alex Morrison, and Mark Smith; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m at Covenant Church.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Church. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
