Jerome Pridgen

Jerome Pridgen, age 64, of Broxton, Ga. passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Pridgen was born on March 18, 1953, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Josh Frances Pridgen and Kathleen Austin Pridgen.

Survivors include: his wife, Sylvia Pridgen of Broxton, Ga.; son, Joshua Jerome (Glenda) Pridgen of Broxton, Ga; two daughters, Amanda (Pat) Pridgen Wilson of Newnan, Ga. and Sandy (Timothy) Hutchison of Nicholls, Ga.; brother, Wesley Pridgen of Broxton, Ga.; two sisters, Judy Chaney of Broxton, Ga. and Vickie Pridgen of Douglas, Ga.; nine grandchildren, Katlin Pridgen, Addison Pridgen, Logan Rodriguez, Angela Rodriguez, D.J. Wilson, Marc Wilson, Chelsea Wilson, Shasta Taft, and Amanda Hutchison; four great-children; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
