Don Harper

Don Harper, age 63, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Harper was born on September 17, 1953, to the late Donnie Eugene Harper, Sr. and Elnora Adams Harper.

Survivors include: his daughter, April (Phillip) Adams of Douglas, Ga.; son, Donnie Matthew Harper of Fort Drum, N.Y.; sister, Lynn Lindsey of Douglas, Ga.; five grandchildren, Bailey Adams, Morgan Adams, Presley Adams, Logan Harper, and Laney Harper; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Lone Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Ann Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
